Song lyrics you wouldn't think are real
Yeah, I just can't get enough of those song lyrics. Some make no sense, often they are rappers who spit the most nonsensical lyrics, but sometimes it's also our favorite pop stars. And sometimes it's also a lyric from a song you definitely know, that you might even like and that you probably have sung along to without really thinking about it. At least, that's been the case for me with these song lyrics. Do they really sing this? Oh, for sure.
1. “Do you ever feel, like a plastic bag?
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?” (Katy Perry – Firework)
No. No, I can honestly say I've never felt that way.
2. “We’re like na na na
Then we’re like yeah yeah yeah
No, we can’t make up our mind” (One Direction – Na Na Na)
Sounds nice, but doesn't rise above the level of a children's song.
3. “I wanna be your vacuum cleaner” (Arctic Monkeys – I wanna be your)
Uhhh… Okay.
4. “Lucky that my breasts are small and humble,
So you don’t confuse them with mountains” (Shakira – Whenever, Wherever)
It is indeed a common problem that many porn viewers accidentally end up at Mount Everest.
5. “Nobody wants a punch in the face
‘Cause when you get punched in the face it hurts” (JME – 96 F*ckries)
True. True as a bus. I can't argue with that.
6. “Many college students have gone to college” (Frank Ocean – Be Yourself)
*looks up the definition of the word students* True again. Like. A. Bus.
7. “My stove deserves a shout-out
I’m like; ‘what up, stove?’” (2 Chainz – Fork)
When you earn money being a rapper but are actually a passionate cook.
8. “When I was in the third grade I thought that I was gay,
‘Cause I could draw” (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Same Love)
This song has a beautiful message, but I don't find it very poetically strong.
9. “She’s indecisive, she can’t decide” (Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber – Eenie Meenie)
I don't even need to look up the definition for this, it just gives it to me (great song, by the way).
10. “Chillin’ by the fire while we eatin’ fondue” (Justin Bieber – Boyfriend)
I'm trying to get a mental image of this and it's really difficult, I can tell you. Incredibly awkward to fondue like this.
11. “My shoes have been stolen,
But I don't need to go outside anymore
Because there's still something” (BLØF – Holiday In Spain)
What? What is what? What's going on? Tell. Me.
12. “For one day, one day
I was really, really, really, really sad” (Dixie D’Amelio – One Day)
I think we can say that she really wasn't feeling well that day.
