MAFS Australia has started and you don't want to miss this season
It’s a beautiful DAYYY… The sun is shining, I feeeeel good and MAFS Australia is onliiiiine. Yes guys, finally that long-awaited eighth season is online. Well, season: the first episode. But it’s something. The fun can begin. And now I have to honestly say that I have already watched the whole season (I couldn't wait so I did something a bit illegal) and I know that you have so much to look forward to. It’s unbelievable. I won’t give any spoilers but if you’re still hesitating to watch (does that even exist?), then I’m here to persuade you.

It’s seriously the most intense season so far. It’s even so spicy that investigations were started to see if everything was okay. There are couples (and individuals) who are so toxic to their surroundings that it’s bordering on abusive. Opinions are quite divided on that, so I’m very curious what the viewers will think of this. My opinion: there is definitely a couple that should have just been sent home for their own protection.

But the arguments are also wonderfully dramatic again. This season might have the best insult of all seasons: ‘You have the personality of a door mat, and that’s an insult to door mats.’ DELIGHTFUL. How do you come up with that?

And sometimes the show seems like Love Island, because this season there are again many rumors about potential partners who are waiting faithfully in the outside world. Rumors about cheating? Of course. And we have a couple that is clearly matched because they are both a bit ‘eccentric’ (which is actually not that bad) and I just guess that they will become everyone’s favorite.

By the way, there is also a new ‘expert’: Alessandra Rampolla, and she is really a good addition. She replaces Trisha Stratford, although I must honestly admit that I didn’t remember the name of a single expert. But Alessandra is nice; at least she is honest and doesn’t keep hammering on whether a couple has been intimate; seriously, how weird is it every season that the focus is so much on that?

Last but not least: due to corona, some adjustments had to be made. The weddings are smaller (but not less awkward) and the week to the home front didn’t happen either. That’s of course a shame, but we get a vacation in return where they all sit in a house together. And I can tell you: that’s really at least just as enjoyable.

I’m going to watch this season with you on Videoland again. This is going to be enjoyable.
