YES: on this date MAFS UK is on Videoland

Hello, couldn't anyone have told me this? Because I just found out this morning that I need to pick up the pace with all my series, because starting December 30th, I'm going to be busy. Very busy. Because that's the day that MAFS UK will be on Videoland. And my sincere apologies, because I initially thought it was already available. Clever me, I completely misread it in all my enthusiasm. Because I am extremely excited about this. Because MAFS UK is going to be amazing. Why? Because it has the same format as the Australian version.

But if you're not familiar with the Australian format, let me explain it to you: it's totally different from the Dutch one. Because let's be honest, that one is a bit boring. The Australian version goes like this: the couples say their vows, then go on a honeymoon and afterwards live together for a month. Side note: all couples live in the same building, so they know each other well. Especially since they have a dinner together every week, and the day after is always a ceremony. At that ceremony, each person must indicate whether they want to stay in the couple. If they say no? Then they still have to stay for a week if the other has said ‘yes’. If both people in a couple answer ‘no’, they leave ‘the experiment’ (because they call the show the experts) early.

During those ceremonies, they talk with three experts about their findings from the week. And that's mostly a lot of drama, but also genuine love and infatuation. It really has everything. I really hope that we in the Netherlands will finally start this format. RTL, are you listening? This is what the viewers want to see.

So, now I'm going to count down to the 30th. CAN'T WAIT.
