Nasser from MAFS Australia reveals the secrets behind the series

If you watched season 5, I don't need to tell you who Nasser is. In case you missed that season, let me briefly explain. Nasser was matched with Gabrielle on the show, and their marriage didn't last. That's actually the most interesting thing to say about him, because the real juicy things happened after the recordings.
He was not-so-kindly but forcefully asked to leave the reunion dinner (which he did), because he wasn't very well-liked. By anyone, not even by the participants from the other seasons. Here's the thing: Nasser has quite a big mouth and finds it rather difficult to keep it shut for once. He has publicly criticized many participants, and that is generally not taken well. And to be honest: I also find him a disgusting little guy.
In the meantime, he has participated in three reality shows in Australia, and it seems he has now signed up for Married At First Sight New Zealand (I already feel sorry for the woman he will be paired with). It seems clear that he just can't get enough of the reality series (and probably the accompanying social media fame). Notably, because he has hardly anything positive to say about MAFS.
Because even there he can't keep that aforementioned big mouth shut. There were some interesting things, which I thought: you would want to know this too. Take it with a grain of salt — or a whole mountain — because this guy wants to stay in the spotlight and does everything to make that happen.
He found the days at MAFS especially long and exhausting: a twelve-hour filming day was not unusual. Because of that, you couldn't really get to know each other, as there were always cameras around, and when they were gone, you were tired and grumpy. “Then you just don’t care anymore,” he also said about it. Hmm, okay, I don't think it would have gone well between Gabrielle and him otherwise, but okay.
“You’re mic’d up at all times, and if they want something, they pull you aside and question you, asking you to elaborate on that subject,” he continued. Well, I believe that; the creators obviously want to capture the best one-liners. Although I do wonder if they would push the participants into certain corners. You can edit whatever you want, but in the end, the participants really choose their words themselves?
However, Nasser felt it was his duty to warn upcoming participants, through an open letter, in which he concluded with the words: “It’s not reality anymore… it’s not genuine.”
Okay, okay, so it's not sincere, but dear friend: why can't you stay away from the whole MAFS concept? You even go to sign up in another country to participate again. Is someone perhaps a bit bitter that he didn't come across well on TV? A bit of your own fault.
And no matter how heavy it all might be, how insincere the creators might be, and how badly they could portray you,I will still sign up for Mike.
