Netflix tip of the day: Cat People

Yes crazy cat ladies, this one is for you. Plan a movie night soon with your meowing friend, because you want to see this one, purring and all. Cat People is coming to Netflix soon and it's a must-see for every cat lover.

The creators of Cat People visit cat owners around the world who have a special bond with their cat. Honestly, I'm a bit offended that Pebbles and I weren't asked, because we are a true dream team, but oh well. Still, it's nice to watch.

Cats that are influencers with bizarrely many followers, cats that go on trips (and can surf themselves, WHUT? Pebbles can only nap or eat). The most beautiful specimens come by, from British Shorthairs to Bengals. And by the way, that surfing cat, I was already following on Instagram. So yes, I am indeed the type that follows almost more cat accounts than accounts of people.

But no matter how great my love is, there are some next-level cases here. Extravagant birthday parties for your cat, having cushions and paintings everywhere in the house; there are entire houses decorated in the cat theme. That can come off as a bit ridiculous towards people, but just check the trailer. This is a documentary that genuinely talks about the love people can have for their cat and shows how important a pet can be for you. Well, I can completely relate to that.

Cat People will be online on July 7, so mark that date in bold in your calendar and stock up on cat wine for the ultimate movie night.
