Netflix tip of the day: Hit & Run

Stop the presses, it's finally here again. I have a genuinely good tip for you. And not one from the category so-wrong-that-it's-fun, but one that simply gives you a passing grade because it's really a good series. Yes, it still exists. So what do you want to watch tonight? Hit & Run.
It had been on Netflix for a while, but I was way too busy with all sorts of bad series like Jaimie Vaes: watching In The Vaes Lane, so I only discovered it this week. The story: the Israeli Segev lives with his daughter Ella and new lover Danielle, and everything seems hunky-dory. Happy family, and Segev has been able to leave his dark past behind.
Well, that's what he thinks. Because when Danielle leaves for New York for an audition, Segev's life turns upside down in no time. I'm not going to give too many spoilers, because you just have to watch this series yourself: it's really incredibly thrilling. It takes place partly in Israel and partly in New York, and there are many flashbacks.
The first season consists of nine episodes, each lasting about an hour. Admittedly: by the end it gets a bit too much and a tad unbelievable, but I found it a delightful watch. Highly recommended.
