Paris Fashion Week in eight highlights

Louis Vuitton is over, in other words Fashion week is done and that means a hefty pile of must-see fashion moments and catwalk cravings. From Gigi's comeback including a red hairstyle at Versace to Chanel's Chez Castel and Loewe's bracelet clutch, these are the 8 (or well, maybe a bit more) highlights straight from Paris Fashion Week.
1. Chloé
The very first collection by Gabriela Hearst for Maison Chloé coincided with the hundredth anniversary of the first creative director: Gaby Aghion. The show starts from history, where minimalism with extra attention to sustainability plays the leading role, with the favorite piece being the puffcho, or a puffer and poncho in one. How genius is that? Go Gabi.

2. Acne Studios
A collection made in isolation inspired by what happens once we all come out and re-enter the world is Acne Studios that makes our fashion hearts beat faster, with the favorite piece being the oversized mask glasses.

3. Gigi is back
Say Versace, and you say memorable catwalk moments. And rampampampam, Donatella does not disappoint us this season either. It's mommy Gigi Hadid who is back in virtual business with a red hairstyle. And just look how cool that was.

4. Christian Dior
‘An ode to a new self-awareness and feminine creativity’ was presented on ‘international Wednesday’ in a rather dark atmosphere at the Palace of Versailles. There is an overload of chandeliers, baroque-like mirrors, dark eyeliners, white collars, tulle, broderie Anglaise, white Bobby socks, leather, a lot of lacing and… Well, just take a look for yourself.

5. Love for Loewe
Oh, and let's not forget the bracelet clutch from Loewe...

6. Isabel Marant
The ’60 spirit meets techno at Isabel Marant, with the favorite the see-through dress and the coolest fringe bags that sweep the floor.

7. Chanel
Chanel brings the nightlife of Paris back to life on the left bank of the Seine, in the coolest nightclub Chez Castel. The models walk down the famous stairs like movie stars in oversized ski jackets adorned with the most beautiful jewels that are not gold but mainly silver. We see see-through, super shiny jackets (with the favorite being the metallic trench coat), beanies, ties, rugged moon boots, suits adorned with appliqués, the jeans adorned with the well-known logo, quilted dungarees and yes, the belly chain is still part of the party. Oh Virginie Viard, how we adore you.

8. Around the world
Last but certainly not least is Louis Vuitton, which closes the fashion party month with the very last show. We walk live behind the model, who opens the show through the halls of the Louvre. Immediately we are around the world (with a touch of Kanye by Daft Punk from the speakers), in love with the giant balloon skirts topped with even larger body warmers, metallic jackets, and slouchy boots. Oh, and the bags. The bags are in collaboration with Fornasetti.
