The 12 weirdest dressing room demands from celebs

I really understand, you know: you are far from home, sometimes for weeks on end. And a hotel can still be so cool the rooms are often a bit sterile and generic. If you can spice it up a bit with your favorite scented candle and a chilled bottle of your favorite brand, I totally get that. But it is wonderful to put all the requirements and wishes in a row for a moment.

1. Beyoncé
She loves warmth, because in her hotel room it must be exactly 25 degrees. She also wishes for new towels (two large and two small, so that's quite modest), wants a new teapot, and there must not be anything from the brand Coca-Cola visible anywhere nearby. She is the face of Pepsi, so she is loyal to that.

2. Adele
You can take the girl out of England, but you can't take England out of the girl, so Adele wishes for six large, new teacups (preferably washed and dried just to be sure), six metal teaspoons, honey in squeeze bottles (and no organic honey for Adele); all to soothe the throat, of course. For the unhealthy balance, she also wants a pack of Marlboro Light and a lighter (nothing more annoying than being somewhere with cigarettes and without a lighter, or with a bottle but without a corkscrew, it's maddening) and a bottle of ‘good quality’ red wine. I don't think anyone would show up with anything less.

3. Rihanna
She especially values good lighting, narrow square vases with tulips, and a large, soft animal print rug, preferably leopard or tiger.

4. Paul McCartney
He won't be showing up at Rihanna's afterparty anytime soon, because he abhors anything animal-related. So no leather, no fur (brrr), no meat, no animal print, but only animal-friendly materials like cotton and velvet and Lots of Plants. Even the seats of the stretched limo in which he is picked up and dropped off cannot be made of leather. I think that will be a task, finding a limo with fabric upholstery, but everything for Sir Paul.

5. Mariah Carey
She would like all rooms to have fresh curtains, preferably black. Furthermore, glasses for white and glasses for red wine and of course Jo Malone candles in the scent Vanilla.

6. Alicia Keys
Alicia is also a scented candle enthusiast, but she prefers them from the brand Glade. I was very curious about what kind of exclusive candle this was... It turns out you can just order them at Bol for less than 8 euros. I'm going to try them right away. Alicia has them in the scents French Vanilla, Wild Berry, or Rainshower. Who knows, this might be a find for us candle lovers who, let's face it, are usually quite rare and precious.

All in all, I find the wishes of the divas quite reasonable and I can relate to their choices.
