The series you want to watch on Disney+

I used to be a real expert in the hospitality industry (the coolest spots in Amsterdam were always on my radar), since corona took over our country just over a year ago, I have become a streaming services expert. Even better: everything that can be seen on those streaming services. And I can tell you that this expertise has come in quite handy over the past year, because if you're looking for a binge-worthy series or a fun/good/bad movie: I actually always have tips for you.

That's why I'm already coming up with two tips. Number one is Love, Victor. That name might remind you of Love, Simon and that's absolutely correct; this series takes place in the same universe as that movie: Simon's voice also returns as a voice-over, so you already know that this is a nice recommendation. Even though it's a coming-of-age drama, I really watched it in one go and I'm already ‘of age’. Good news by the way if you've also watched that first season at such a rapid pace: the second season comes out on June 11. LOVE IT.

More tips? Sure: Big Sky is really incredibly thrilling. A kind of race-against-the-clock series, a search for a truck driver who has kidnapped two sisters, and it quickly becomes clear that they are not the only women who have disappeared in this area. Not good for the blood pressure, this series, but definitely one you don't want to miss if you enjoy some suspense.

Okeeee, because I'm on a roll, I'll give a third tip: WandaVision. You've probably heard of it lately, because it's becoming quite popular and I've just started watching it and totally understand the hype. Especially for Marvel fans, this is a must-see, because it takes place in the same world, so references and fun easter eggs abound. The lead role is played by Elizabeth Olsen (yes, the sister of) and it's visually really delightful to watch. Yes, the eye wants something too, right?

Then of course the big question: where can we watch this? Well, that's easy, since all three can be watched in the same place: Disney+ is where you need to subscribe if you haven't already. Anyway, that's really a recommendation if you're as much of a Disney fan as I am, because of course all the classics are on there. And all the Pixar movies too, by the way. Plus all the Star Wars movies. They are really doing well there, because the first two tips can be watched via Disney+ Star, the section with new and original projects for adults. Keep ‘em coming, please.
