On Friday, around snack time, De Winkel op Wielen rolled into my street. It was a party in the form of a bus. I had no idea where on earth I was supposed to conjure candles or cards from during this lockdown, but the answer was just there on my doorstep. By the way, Lotte and Meike offer much more; I'm doing them a disservice by only mentioning candles and cards here. Think: pea soup from Joris Bijdendijk, bottles of Gimber, truffle oil from the truffle sommelier, responsible chips, gin mayo, a nice bottle of wine... Everything in the bus is fun or tasty or both. It's basically just a candy store for adults. Everything is carefully curated by Lotte and Meike, and you get a nice coffee while you shop. It's the SRV but then driven into 2021.

The bus currently drives up to 40 kilometers from Amsterdam. Do you live there? On the site of De Winkel op Wielen you can see when they come and where they stop. Back at my place tomorrow again. I can't wait.
