Today we tip - this is how you have less screen time

Every week I get a pop-up with my screen time. A pretty confronting moment and I keep telling myself every time that this week I really-really-really want to spend less time on my phone. Which often doesn't work. Until I saw a pretty brilliant tip from Kelly Weekers on Instagram. Yes, a bit double, I know. What she did? Empty her phone. On her homepage, there are only three icons left. One to call, one for messages, and one for WhatsApp. Kelly explained why. The fewer icons she saw, the less she was triggered to use them. I found completely emptying my phone a bit intense, but I solved it differently. On my home screen, there are only Spotify, WhatsApp, my camera, calendar, and mail (where all notifications are turned off), the option to call, and my alarm clock. For anything social or whatever, I have to go to page two, open a folder, and only then can I start endlessly scrolling. Through the lives of others. Which I just find a waste of my time. I think it works. By not seeing it, I suddenly want to see less too. Simple tip and quick result. Let's see what my screen time says next week. Keep you posted.
