If you had told me at the beginning of 2020 that I would recommend a hiking book to you now, I would have laughed out loud. But here I am, with a hiking book tip. Just a small disclaimer: this is seriously the coolest hiking book ever. That's thanks to writers Eva Spigt and Nicola Dow, the masterminds behind Back to Nature Hikes, from whom I always seek advice for routes. Eva and Nicola make hiking fun. In the book Back to Nature, there are short and long hikes, useful tips, and explanations of why hiking is actually so good for you. I hiked one of their tips on Texel of about fourteen kilometers, but there are also manageable routes of a maximum of an hour. That combined with tips on where to sleep, eat, and things to do makes it fun to give, receive, or just keep for yourself. buy tickets.
