This is the absolute worst Christmas movie on Netflix

Yes guys, I have made myself and you proud again. Because even though I don't necessarily love Christmas, all Christmas movies on Netflix need to be watched and I'm quite enjoying that. Of course, we know that not all Christmas movies are that good and that's totally okay, a bad, cheesy Christmas movie is also incredibly enjoyable. But I did come across one that just really can't be and I want to warn you about it. Don't make the same mistake I did. Even worse: I thought it would be a fun movie.

I'm talking about (drumroll please) Office Christmas Party. One that genuinely disappointed me, because Netflix promotes it nicely with a photo of Jennifer Aniston included. Because yes, she is in it. Jen, what's going on here? Why on earth did you say ‘yes‘ to this monstrosity? And the same goes for Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon, T.J. Miller, and Jillian Bell. Seriously, this movie has quite a good cast. So why did it have to be so bad? Why?

Maybe it's the abundance of bad jokes from T.J. Miller, who plays Jennifer Aniston's brother and sometimes comes off as a simpleton. Or the cliché character of Jennifer Aniston who plays a real-life version of The Grinch. Or maybe the party that spirals so out of control that it really makes no sense anymore and would fit much better in an extreme version of Jackass. Or is it Kate McKinnon again, who I've never seen play a normal role and is therefore unbearable here as well?

I don't know, maybe it's a combination of the above factors, but this movie hurt my eyes. I think I'm going to watch as many movies as possible to forget this one. And forget that my girl crush Jennifer Aniston ever did this. Any fun tips? Love Hard, Happiest Season, or just wonderfully old-fashioned The Holiday and Love Actually.
