Wow: Kinder Bueno makes Easter eggs

The Easter eggs from Kinder

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: the Easter eggs from Kinder Bueno.

Confession time: I’m not really a fan of chocolate. I know: very bizarre (but I’m often glad that I can resist it). The exception to this rule has been chocolate from Kinder my whole life. Kinder Surprise, Kinder Bueno, those bars… SO DELICIOUS. I really can’t stay away from them, so I shouldn’t buy them anymore. But then this weekend I was in the supermarket and saw Kinder Bueno Easter eggs. I had to try them immediately. And I knew what I was in for.

So. Addictive. Tasty. Unbelievable. Of course, it’s a bit early to have Easter eggs in the store have them, they’ve been around since mid-January: a bit on the early side. But I think these should be on the shelves all year round.

Kinder Surprise meets Kinder Bueno
Okay, imagine this: the outside is like the Kinder Surprise egg, so a layer of milk chocolate and a layer of white chocolate, and then a thin wafer like Kinder Bueno and then it’s completely filled with that hazelnut cream. That’s exactly how those Easter eggs are made. I bought two bags and they are both completely gone now. I’m heading back to the supermarket to buy two new ones. This is going completely the wrong way. If you have a bit more self-discipline than I do: you want to try these. Oh yes, I bought them at Jumbo, so they definitely have them there.
