YES, this is the date that The Bold Type returns

With a smile but especially with a tear; The Bold Type comes back one more time. Honestly, I really don't understand at all why they thought it was a good idea to cancel The Bold Type (finally a series where you can easily make ten seasons, and they think five is enough). Moreover, it won't even be a full season: we have to make do with just six (SIX!) episodes. Just to remind you: season four had sixteen, and was actually intended to be a season with eighteen episodes. Due to corona, the last two were scrapped.

That also meant that we didn't really get the ending of the fourth season that we wanted and deserved. Now, Jane's relationship doesn't interest me that much, but the story between her and her colleague Scott is of course not over yet. But what I think everyone wants to know is how Sutton and Richard are doing. Sutton is really my absolute favorite of the three, but what is that girl thinking? Leaving Richard? Bi-zar.

But okay, grab the tissues because they are coming back one more time. May 26 is the day they will be back on American TV, and hopefully — since The Bold Type now has a Netflix deal — they will be available on Netflix a day later. This prediction is based solely on the fact that the series is currently available on the streaming service, so take my words with a grain of salt. Very wishful thinking too, maybe.

But given that The Bold Type has become incredibly popular in the Netherlands since it appeared on Netflix — rightly so, if you ask me, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Okay, Netflix: shall we just agree on May 27 then? If not, we will stream it illegally. Yes, this is indeed blackmail. Does it work?
