Tip tip tip: The Bold Type on Videoland

Ooooh, I have a delicious tip for tonight. Maybe you've heard of it. I had, in fact, and I really found it a shame that it wasn't available somewhere in the Netherlands. Because this is just a really nice series with a touch of Sex and the City, Gossip Girl and The Devil Wears Prada. In other words, something that is just completely in my, your, our alley.

Katie Stevens (from Faking It), Aisha Dee, and Meghann Fahy play the three lead roles. Three women living in New York (hi, best setting ever à la Gossip Girl and SATC), and working at the magazine Scarlet (bye The Devil Wears Prada), a women's magazine where they are daily drilled by their editor-in-chief, Jacqueline Carlyle.

The series is inspired by the life and career of former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, Joanna Coles. So we can expect a lot of glamour, a whole lot of juicy love drama, the very best fashion and of course NYC. We are all mega excited about that reboot of Gossip Girl, I actually think we don't even need it anymore.

Because Videoland has been so kind to just put all four seasons online. FOUR. So suddenly it’s not so bad that we’ve been without The Bold Type in our little frog country for all this time.

And I know that it really absolutely can't happen right now, but seeing all those skyscrapers makes me really want to head straight to New York. It doesn't look like it will be possible anytime soon, so I'll just daydream about the thought alone. What I can do, even from my couch, is shop. And I’m inspired by that now too.
