The 7 cutest restaurants from And Just Like That
I am intensely jealous of Daan, who is just going hard to New York in May. Okay, she has had to postpone her trip twice because of aunt corona, but she is definitely going. And you can be sure that she will eat here. These are my favorite restaurants that I spotted while watching And Just Like That. Because you can find all sorts of things from this remake of Sex and the City, the creators still have an eye for hotspots.
1. The Whitney Cafe, 99 Gansevoort Street
This is where the series opens and we see all the girlfriends (minus Samantha) back together after all these years. It’s in the Meatpacking District near the Whitney Museum, so two outings in one.
2. Sant Ambroeus
There are three in New York and Carrie is first seen in Sant Ambroeus on Madison Avenue (where she tells Miranda and Charlotte that she wants to sell her apartment with Big) and then we see her in Sant Ambroeus at 265 Lafayette Street where she meets her new friend Seema.
3. Chalait UWS
There, Carrie meets Natasha (Big's ex), who suddenly inherits a million dollars from Big. 461, Amsterdam Avenue
4. Dante, West Village
551 Hudson Street
If I were to go to New York, this would be at the top of my list. Here, Carrie meets for the second time with her first date after Big. They didn’t go inside, but the terrace looks so amazing that I want to, will, and must.
5. La Grande Boucherie
146 W, 53 Street
Here, Charlotte tries to have lunch with daughter Lily when she catches her in a, uh, oral, examination with Harry. The conversation goes nowhere, but a nice lunch spot has been found.
6. Storico
When upper class meets upper class, they meet here. Storico is the perfect place for Charlotte and new friend Lisa Todd-Wexley to grab a bite between all the fundraisers and tennis parties.
It is located in the New York Historical Society in Central Park
7. Bistrot Leo
60 Thompson Street
A French bistro as you would picture it: charming, cozy, stylish, and traditional. The perfect place to talk about Carrie’s new and somewhat chilly apartment that she bought after selling her apartment with Big.
