My current obsession: satisfying TikTok movies

I still feel like I'm a bit too old for TikTok, but I can't help it: I'm addicted. Aimlessly and mindlessly scrolling, and before I know it, another hour has passed. Not exactly productive, but I'm having a great time with it. And it's funny how such an app mostly knows exactly what I enjoy watching. Currently, my algorithm mainly consists of Harry Styles, cat videos, cooking videos, and the most satisfying videos. And I want to talk to you about the last one.

Because I'm definitely not the only one in this, those videos are incredibly popular, but why is it so calming to watch? Serious research has been done on this, and it turns out: when watching these kinds of videos, serotonin and dopamine are released. It makes perfect sense that we feel happy from this. Recognizable?
