The strangest things celebrities have said

celebs strange statements

Now I really don't want to claim that I've never said anything strange, but well, I'm not a celebrity and I'm not being interviewed, so my words can't be found forever in magazines and/or on the internet. Although I must say that my strange comments do have their limits, but some celebs really go overboard. A case of ‘what-the-fuck-are-you-saying’ unfortunately happens quite often, even among the biggest celebs. Just take a look at the list below, compiled by Reddit users. The strangest toxic statements made by celebs. Read and shudder.

1. Kate Moss: ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

2. Mark Wahlberg said about his co-star in Planet of the Apes, Helena Bonham Carter, that she ‘was very sexy and looked like Janet Jackson.’

3. John Mayer: ‘My dick is a bit of a white racist. I have a Benetton heart and a David Duke dick. I really need to stop dating my dick'.’

4. Tom Cruise (I could actually make a whole separate list about this man) who openly criticized co-star Brooke Shields for taking antidepressants. Of course, that is not allowed by Scientology, and that's why he called her ‘irresponsible’ and said that women suffering from postpartum depression just needed to take more vitamins and exercise.

5. Elizabeth Hurley on Marilyn Monroe: ‘I always thought she looked amazing, but I would really commit suicide if I were that fat'.’

6. Rapper T.I. said that women couldn't become president because ‘they make hasty decisions.’ Later he apologized.

7. Sean Connery in Playboy (1965): ‘I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with hitting a woman, although I wouldn't recommend doing it in the same way you would hit a man. A slap with an open hand is justified if there are no alternatives'.’

8. Kelly Osbourne: ‘If you kicked every Latino out of our country, who would clean your toilet?’

9. Jenna Elfman: ‘Aids is a state of mind.’

10. Kanye West: ‘When you hear that slavery lasted 400 years... 400 years? That sounds like a choice'.’
