Brad Pitt sues Angelina Jolie

You can't convince me that this timing isn't very suspicious, right after Johnny Depp's win. I think it's very likely that Brad Pitt thought: hey, wait a minute, maybe I can do this too. He also went to court to sue his ex Angelina Jolie. Not for domestic violence, but for a certain form of defamation and slander; exactly what Johnny sued his ex for.
In this case, however, Brad Pitt believes that his ex Angelina Jolie has deliberately obstructed his vineyard. They owned it together, in France, but Angelina has since sold her share. And even though Brad would have liked that, the person to whom she sold everything he calls a ‘stranger with toxic associations and intentions’. Okay, okay, sounds intense. The wine in question is called Miraval and I seriously recommend it, in case you happen to be at Gall & Gall soon.
They bought a significant share in this winery in 2008 and even got married on this land. That marriage did not last — as we all know — the couple separated in 2016 and since then it has been war. Their division in Miraval was initially 60/40, with 60 percent for Brad, but in 2013 he gave ten percent to Angelina. This made it 50/50 and they promised never to sell their own share without consulting the other. Side note: by now their share together was about 164 million.
According to Brad, Angelina did not adhere to that agreement by selling her share without consulting him. Now I must admit that the person who is now half a shareholder indeed doesn't sound very pleasant: Yuri Shefler, a Russian oligarch living in Luxembourg. Brad is also not very happy about the fact that his ex did not offer for him to buy her half.
In short: trouble is brewing. And what this particularly has in common with the case between Johnny and Amber? Brad Pitt has requested that this case be brought before a jury. My goodness, if that goes ahead this will become an even bigger media circus than what we've had recently.
