These are the couples from the new Temptation Island

Heyyyy, mark April 28 in your calendar. Bold. Because that's when the new season of Temptation Island starts, and the couples have just been announced. Now I know you should never judge purely on appearance, but I have full confidence that these couples will bring a lot of drama. Meanwhile, the juice channels are bigger than ever, so of course, some things have already leaked.

It seems that at the last minute a couple was swapped because the participating couple turned out not to be a couple at all. Instagram account Reality FBI uncovered this, and the creators of Temptation Island were not too happy about it. It's well known that people participate for Insta-fame, but the only requirement is that you actually have to be a couple. They were already out before the recordings. Another couple would — just like in the previous season — be replaced halfway through for another, and more singles would be added as the season progresses. Sounds good, right? Let's move on to the couples then.

Iris and Whitney

Have been together for three years and have a trust issue: their participation will be their ‘make it or break it’ moment. Always handy to base your entire relationship on a TV show. In this case, Whitney wants to show that he is indeed trustworthy.

Maris and Ivo

Two familiar faces, at least if you've watched Free Love Paradise. I had literally never heard of this show, and I guess many people haven't either, so this couple is giving their fame another chance. They have been together for nine (!) years, but Maris wants to focus more on the future, while Ivo is more of a carpe diem type. Additionally, she is curious if she could develop feelings for someone else.

Linde and Jan Sietse

The juice channel of juice channels Life Of Yvonne reported having received a completely full inbox because of this Jan Sietse. His reputation is said to not be the best, and girls in her DMs call him a ‘pathological liar’. It almost seems inevitable that he will cause the most drama. The fact that they have only been together for a year will likely contribute to that, I think. Both are insecure and jealous, and they believe that their participation in Temptation Island could reduce that.

Annabel and René

Quite a bit of info has already come in about these two at Yvonne: they are said to be on a dating app together with a call for a third person. That should be totally fine, of course, but I wonder why you would participate in Temptation Island. Anyway, this couple has been together for five years and is also together 24/7. They are participating to find out if their relationship is indeed as strong as they think.

Who do you think will cause the most drama? I really think it will be Jan Sietse and René. I believe they will turn the entire men's villa upside down. Are we looking forward to that? Yes, of course.
