So this is the solution for everyone who keeps dropping their phone. I used to be that person until I took out an insurance policy that I was really overpaying for. Even worse: I had to return my phone so many times in one year that even the insurance said, ‘And now it's enough.’

So it's not that crazy that I Fairphone was referred to: a new phone brand that understands when your phone tends to break. In fact, they ensure that you have a replacement within 48 hours. That was what immediately appealed to me about this phone (given my clumsiness), but overall it is definitely a good choice; as the name suggests, this phone is indeed ‘fair’.

They promote the well-being of workers, engage in responsible sourcing, and are very transparent in their methods and results; something I really believe should be the case in 2022. Additionally, you can return your phone if you no longer want it, and they will recycle it.

I'm going to buy one as a work phone, and then really try my best not to drop it. It will definitely go well for a week.
