To flirt or not to flirt: this is what you need to know per holiday country

If your eyes get stuck on a beautiful sight while on vacation, it always promises just a little bit more than at home. Flirting is even the number one national sport in some countries, but be careful: you can also really mess it up. In these countries, you often flirt, a lot and extensively, but in these countries, you might as well leave it.

1. Yes yes yes, Latin America
Did you know that Colombians fall in love most often while on vacation? But the surrounding sisters can also do their part. In Buenos Aires, you have the best chance of advances, so you know where to be if you're in the mood for some amore amore.

2. A no go in Sri Lanka
As one of the most popular countries in the world to travel through with your backpack, this is quite a surprise. But keep your flirting mainly to other backpackers, as flirting is not appreciated among the locals. They even find it somewhat indecent, well, then you know.

3. The biggest flirts of Europe

Furthermore, Australians, Canadians, and Finns are also not really into flirting on vacation, although I know from reliable sources that those Australian surfers in Bali are a category of their own.
