Today I am going to make you very happy with one of my best discoveries of late. For the past few months, there has been a small and cute coffee shop called Oslo on Prinsenstraat in Amsterdam. The owner is from Oslo, makes the best coffee in the city, and also sells fresh focaccias, sourdough breads, and delicious pastries. Everything is equally tasty and all is prepared on-site in the shop. But now comes the best part: the homemade raspberry jam with champagne in it. I wish everyone could have such jam, because this is truly a delight combined with a fresh slice of sourdough bread. The owner makes this jam herself and recently told me that she regularly takes a sip of champagne during the making process. Don’t expect a strong alcohol taste, but rather a very special raspberry flavor with a bite. Every weekend, my beloved and I get coffee, fresh bread, and of course this jam here. Last weekend, we were surprised with our own jar of jam, how sweet is that? Believe me: you want to taste this.
