Oh boys, I found the item I’m going to live in this autumn and winter. Okay, maybe I’ll wear it into spring and summer as well. I moved last week and wanted a completely new interior, a so-called ‘fresh new start‘. First on my wishlist: a new duvet cover. I usually buy those at ESSENZA, so that was my standard go-to this time as well. But that’s also the site where I found my new favorite homewear, because while searching for a duvet cover and cushions for the couch, I spotted this kimono. Well, I just had to have it. I’ve been living here for a few days now. Seriously, this feels so nice and soft.

They come in a long version or a short one — I went for the short one, to be precise for the Sarai Fleur Festive Kimono in black. This print, the Fleur, has been their bestseller for years and it’s five years old this year. To celebrate that, they made this special edition. Fun fact: they have a duvet cover in exactly the same print (just look here), so I think I’ll buy that later too. My eye also fell on this model, called Iris Juliette Nightblue Kimono, and that’s also going on my wishlist. Although it won’t just be worn at home, because this is definitely an item that needs to be seen by others. How beautiful is it?

I already mentioned how soft it is, but you can expect that from an item that is one hundred percent cotton satin. A big plus is that it’s super affordable (only €49.95), and the logical downside is that I now want more than one, because they have it in multiple colors and since I wear this so much, I’m getting quite greedy. Alright, I’ll also get it in white. And maybe also this long one in blue? It’s also nice and long during the cold winter days. Ah, just do it. Treat yourself.
