Dream job: scrolling through TikTok for 50 euros per hour

Wow, if I had been given a side job like this back in the day. Instead, I was (seriously) building pizzas at New York Pizza for €2.50 an hour. Okay, I was fifteen at the time, but still. This job pays a lot more and is even more fun: you earn 50 euros an hour and you only have to scroll through TikTok. So basically, I'm already doing that, just unpaid. I can add volunteer work to my CV right away.

The job vacancy was brought to light by The New York Post. The company that posted the vacancy is called Ubiquitous, which is an influencer marketing agency. In total, they are looking for someone to do this for twelve hours, so if you scroll a bit, you could be $600 richer in one day. No rush: they give you three days to complete those twelve hours. Additionally, you also receive a ‘welcome package’ including a $50 UberEats gift card, a $50 Target gift card, a phone holder (very handy for a selfie arm), and a ring light and tripod for when you want to make TikToks yourself.

Uh, hello, isn't this a dream job? The only requirement is that you must be over 18. As you might expect, the competition is probably fierce, but Ubiquitous emphasizes that they are not looking for a TikTok expert. ‘Anyone can apply as long as they have an account on the app.’ Well, a child can do the laundry.
