New Netflix series can be watched in any order

Netflix is coming up with a completely new way of watching series and I find it really interesting. The episode Bandersnatch of Black Mirror was already particularly innovative; in it, you could choose what a character would do at different moments in the episode, leading to different endings. Very cool done (I love Black Mirror anyway), but they are now taking it a step further.
The series Kaleidoscope, which will be available online on January 1, can be watched in any random order, and your order will determine how the series unfolds. There are eight episodes, all named after a color. The series revolves around a heist, and the eight episodes will cover a total of 25 years. Sounds all very exciting. Central to Kaleidoscope is a group of robbers who want to empty a safe that is known to be ‘impossible to crack’. Okay, okay, La Casa de Papel 2.0? I'm in.
You can decide for yourself which color to start with, and it won't matter: you'll understand the series anyway, but your experience will be very different. A really cool concept, but I am really curious about how this will work in practice. Especially since the creator, Eric Garcia, also mentions that it is loosely based on a true story. How then?
Just a little more patience, but this is going to be a very interesting experience. On January 1, all eight episodes will be online.
