YES: McDonald's is coming out with a Happy Meal for adults

Today is my lucky daaaaay. Because I have yet again a more than decent excuse to go to the Maccie and that always makes me very happy. That Golden M remains one of my guilty pleasures. Side note: people who can honestly say ‘they don't like McDonald's’, how then? I really don't understand how you can say that about all products — because there is really something for everyone, but I also don't get it because it's just really tasty.

Personally, my standard order is a Big Mac with fries (no meal, because that post-mix soda makes me quite sad) but the times I go with my fellow Amayzer Ella, I already know her order: a Happy Meal. And of course, we always eagerly look forward to the little gift that comes with it, even though it usually isn't much and it's not exactly for our age group.

But there is going to be a change. Hooray: McDonald's is coming out with a Happy Meal for adults. HOW FUN. This consists of the following: ten Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac (easy choice for me), a large fries AND a drink of your choice. And of course… A toy. Loohooof it. So basically just a large value meal with an actual treat included. I think it's awesome.

Well, there is one downside. A downside the size of the Atlantic Ocean: for now, these Happy Meals for adults are only available in the United States. That's quite a bummer. Hey, Dutch McDonald's, are you listening? We want this in the Netherlands too. NOW.
