Wow: Miley Cyrus is unrecognizable

What happened here? I had to seriously look a couple of times and really double-check the name before I believed this was Miley Cyrus. The singer is hosting a New Year's Eve Party for NBC together with living legend Dolly Parton, but what people are mainly talking about is Miley's new appearance. Because there is no denying it; her face looks very different. And that is of course enough fodder for the internet to speculate wildly about what the former Disney star has had changed about herself.

First of all, the new veneers stand out; apparently Miley already had veneers during her Hannah Montana days, but they had a different (more natural?) shape back then. These are a lot larger and as a result, her mouth looks very different. Just a side note: do you know anyone for whom veneers look natural and beautiful? Every time I see it, it stands out so much and people also talk very differently because of it.

According to fans, that's not the only thing Miley has changed about herself; she is said to have also undergone Buccal Fat Removal, which has been a huge trend in Hollywood for years. This is a relatively minor procedure, where the plastic surgeon makes a small incision in the patient's mouth and removes a piece of fat — about the size of a grape. The incision is then closed with self-dissolving stitches. The result is tighter cheekbones and a somewhat more sunken face.

Well, that could certainly be it, or maybe Miley has lost quite a bit of weight anyway. In any case, the singer has a very new look.
