Yesss, there is another delicious docuseries ready for us. And I suspect this is another one that will be talked about a lot. It absolutely falls in the category of The Tinder Swindler and Don’t F*ck With Cats, which people also couldn't stop discussing, and this one is also about the dangers of the internet.

The title speaks for itself, as The Most Hated Man On The Internet is indeed about roughly the most hated man on the internet. His name is Hunter Moore, the guy who founded the site Is Anyone Up? in 2010. Not familiar with that site? Count yourself lucky; this was a so-called ‘revenge porn’ website. On this site, you could anonymously post explicit photos of anyone, and if you wanted, you could also include their names and addresses. What drives someone like that, you might wonder.

Rolling Stone wrote an extensive article about this Hunter Moore back in 2012 , and already gave him the nickname 'the most hated man on the internet'. A very fitting nickname., In the three-part docuseries, we follow among others Charlotte and her daughter Kayla. The latter became a victim of the site Is Anyone Up? and found a topless photo of herself on that site in January 2012. Her full name was also listed, along with links to her social media profiles.

Mother Charlotte didn't just sit back and went on an investigation: she quickly discovered that Kayla had sent the photos to her email address and that account had been hacked a week before the photos went online.

Is this all allowed? was my first thought when I heard about this site. And apparently, the answer is: yes. This Hunter Moore hid behind the fact that all content was uploaded by users and not by him, so he would be innocent.

Really a bizarre docuseries and a huge recommendation. But oh man, you are going to get so angry about this.
