THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE THE TASTIEST SANGRIA SLUSHIES

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: sangria slushies.
Imagine that on a scorching hot summer day, you are parched and looking for something refreshing, and the only thing you have at home is a bottle of red wine. I can imagine that at 24 degrees, you are not really in the mood for a glass of full-bodied red wine. But what do you do with it? Make a slushie!
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of red wine
- 80 ml Licor 43 (or another spirit you have lying around)
- 30 ml orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Orange slices for garnish
Here’s how to make the sangria slushies:
1. Pour the red wine into an ice cube tray and place it in the freezer until the cubes are frozen.
2. Put the cubes in a blender along with the Licor 43, the orange juice, and the honey, and blend until smooth.
3. Pour the slushie into a glass, garnish with an orange slice, and cheers!
