Bad news: every sausage roll you eat costs you 35 minutes of your life

Love a hot dog bun? We get it, we do too. A soft white bun, a generous dollop of mayo spread on it, and then maneuvering two or three hot dogs on top.
You can make it even juicier by adding ketchup, mustard, or curry, and possibly some fried onions or sambal. Yes, a hot dog bun: sometimes the best thing there is. Especially with a hangover, or if you're still half-drunk. But now it turns out, according to a rather grumpy study, that every hot dog bun you eat costs you 35 minutes of your dear life..
According to a study from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, a hot dog bun is actually much worse than we thought. And no, it doesn't matter whether it's a hot dog, smoked sausage, or frankfurter; that's not where the difference lies. There are 80 calories in one hot dog, but that's not all. The meat is mainly waste meat: not exactly healthy for your body. Additionally, there are a number of colorings and other ‘bad‘ substances in the hot dog. These substances are added to keep them longer-lasting and to improve the taste. After all, they always look the same, bright pink. If you think about it too long it becomes disgusting, don't you think? Suddenly I hear you thinking: I will NEVER eat this again. While it seemed so delicious just a moment ago, with that half hangover.
Anyway. Hot dogs themselves are not healthy, just like that soggy bun doesn't help, the sauces aren't great for your figure, and you won't get your vitamins from those fried onions either. In short: unhealthy food. You can definitely eat it once a year, don't worry. Life should remain fun. But not too often, oh please not too often. Then the charm is gone right away. Do you eat an extra carrot around those days? That might save you another five minutes.
