Tempa Talk: episode 12

Shall we play the drinking game one last time? You know the rules by now: shots when the words ‘concept’, ‘open relationship’, and ‘process’ are mentioned. Let’s get waaaasted, we have to end the last episode with a bang, of course.

1. Honestly, I’m really looking forward to the reunion of Maris and Ivo. Especially the recap in the Netherlands, because I don’t know how they do it, but they have avoided all the juice channels. If even Life of Yv doesn’t know if you’re still together, you’ve managed to keep it a good secret.

2. Whitney and Iris are definitely not together anymore, I would really bet my money on that. They are going to fight each other.

3. Nothing is as awkward as this farewell between Iris and Kenzo, with that rose as the cherry on top.

4. He would take her home on a date? Please let those cameras come along one more time. Awkwardness at its peak.

5. By the way, I’m surprised that Ivo isn’t just taking Esmé to that very last campfire.

6. Maris's biggest fear was that Ivo would say crazy things. Sorry, but I can only laugh about this. That man has only made bizarre statements since day one.

7. Maybe it would be a bit of reality inception, but I really think it’s a shame that no one has asked Maris and/or Ivo about that Free Love Paradise program they participated in before.

8. Uh, WHAT? Ivo’s conclusion after Temptation is that Maris is the one for him? Wow, you’ve really managed to keep that well hidden over the past few weeks.

9. Ivo: *gets images of Maris being quite close with the seducer*
Ivo: ‘It will probably be fine, it didn’t look very cozy.’
… Did we see the same images?

10. Ivo. Doesn’t. Know. Anymore. HAHA. Maris confronts him with the fact that he laughed about open relationships and he seriously says: ‘I don’t remember saying that.’ DUDE. You’ve talked about nothing else.

11. Even Kaj can’t get the word ‘concept’ out of his mouth and just calls it a ‘topic’.

12. But this is pretty weird, right? Maris not wanting people to have an opinion about her, not wanting to talk openly because ‘people are narrow-minded’. I don’t know, but maybe you’re not in the right place in one of the most-watched reality series.

13. This campfire is really a first-class disappointment. No fights, no confrontations, everything suddenly hunky-dory. That’s what I find an interesting concept, that they can do that.

14. The only thing we’ve learned is that Maris actually thinks exactly the same as Ivo and that she finds us as viewers mostly narrow-minded. Still a plot twist I didn’t really see coming.

15. YES. Fireworks. The very last one, Whitney, still chooses to ask the seducer Kenzo something.

16. The music gets a solid ten this season. They’re just playing the intro song from Charmed. Really versatile.

17. Zooohoooo, Iris going all in. ‘Did she have a nice pussy? Did you touch her pussy?’

18. That little tap. THAT TAP. So condescending. This is the drama we watch Temptation for.

19. Iris also kissed someone when it was over. And kept that quiet. But when Whitney does it, it’s worse, ‘because he does it on TV’. Iris also deserves a tap back.

21. My personal pet peeve: people who only use sarcasm during a discussion or argument. Really, that gets under my skin. Sorry Iris.

Also Iris: ‘DiD sHe HaVe A nIcE PuSsy?’

23. Maris and Ivo still together. Well, if they’re happy, that’s totally fine. But then it’s also done now, right, guys? Not three times is a charm and grab another reality series.

24. After watching Temptation for weeks, I’m still not used to Whitney being so intensely muscular.

25. That Iris and Whitney are no longer together was of course something we saw coming from miles away. Who do we believe about the dream date? I tend to believe Sabine. Whitney is mainly afraid he’ll get another smack on the back of his head.

26. Ah, I find it somewhat stupid. They are both still in love, but Whitney has just messed it up too many times. Such a shame. Unnecessary.
