André Hazes opens up about relationship at Casa Di Beau

Tonight, André Hazes and Linda Hakeboom are guests on the delightful program Casa di Beau. I found it quite a striking combination, as I can't imagine that those two have much in common. To be honest, I am quite curious about both: about Linda because she seems like such a lovely and intelligent woman, and André because... Well, because it's André?

His life is of course constantly in the spotlight and he is often in the news (which is also largely his choice), but the promised comeback is a bit delayed. André wanted to move away from the party songs and take a completely different path. What turns out: the audience mainly just wants those party songs. So no song in the charts, but André still graces the front page of the gossip magazines.

I think this is due to the fact that André is so delightful and loves to talk: last week he indeed mentioned having no contact with his mother and sister and that it was okay (he didn't want negativity in his life), and at Beau he openly talks about another favorite topic of the audience: his relationships.

He left Monique several times, for Bridget and for Sarah van Soelen, but he was always welcome at home. She still lives with their son Dré in what used to be their house, and where André mainly lives... I think we will get an answer to that tonight.

What we see in the preview is that André mentions that he and Monique were working on a second child. However, Monique had a miscarriage, and shortly after that, André fell in love with another woman — and left Monique behind.

It's nice that he can honestly talk about that, but I still find it all a bit private and somewhat tone-deaf. How nonchalantly he tells all this, seemingly without any guilt, makes Linda's question (‘but don't you feel guilty about that?’) almost sound a bit in shock; he hasn't mentioned guilt himself yet. Very curious about the further conversations in this episode: tonight at half past eight on RTL4.
