It's hard to imagine, almost impossible: someone else as Allie in The Notebook than Rachel McAdams. She and Ryan Gosling are just made for those roles, because I really can't imagine another Noah: the chemistry between them was just so good.
Of course, there is a whole casting process that precedes this and many actors auditioned, but you will be surprised which superstar almost got the role of Allie.
Yep, that's actually Britney Spears. Maybe you've seen her shining role in Crossroads, which I think is a great movie. That's because it's just so bad, over the top, and not very well acted, and while actors like Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning are also in it, who are certainly not the least. But to be honest: I didn't think Britney would ever deliver Oscar-winning material.
Okay, I'm still not convinced of that, but I have to take it back: secretly she can act quite well. If we go by her audition tape for The Notebook at least, because that was released yesterday and she genuinely does it very well. No, she is of course not Rachel McAdams, but I am really amazed by this strong piece of acting, you know.
