B&B Full of Love is finally back

B&B Full of Love candidates 2023

Yes! Starting Monday, B&B Vol Liefde is back on the air and you can enjoy the tour d’amour every evening that eight tough bed & breakfast owners undertake. Personally, I jumped on the B&B Vol Liefde train very late and binge-watched both previous seasons at a rapid pace last summer, but oh, how I enjoyed the love troubles of Hans in Italy, who tried to find the new love of his life under the same roof as his ex-wife. Or Jacob, who was already 5-0 behind when his dates arrived because the ladies had already met each other and the competitive element was therefore hard to find. Or the men of Roxanne, who had to sleep together on the couch in a Charlie & the Chocolate Factory style and said nothing about it. This is golden television and I can't wait to see how it will go for the new participants.

This season we are heading to France, where Walter and Perti are looking for true love. Walter has only just been the owner of his B&B for a year and is interested in spirituality, energies, and tantra which, of course, will provide content to feast on. Petri is also new to the world of B&Bs. About a year and a half ago, she turned her life around and moved to France, where she lovingly cares for her guests who sleep in rooms all named after French writers. If this isn't the beginning of a Hallmark movie, then I don't know what is.

In Spain, we visit the flamboyant Debbie (do you remember Debbie from season 1? Let's hope it gets a bit more cheerful here) who radiates all the colors of the rainbow and welcomes her guests in her tasteful, colorful caravans in Catalonia. A little further in Málaga lives 25-year-old Joy. Besides his unique ‘MountJoy’, where he runs his B&B, he builds and sells campers. It must be said: Joy looks a bit like the new seducer from Temptation Island, but he says he is looking for his true love to go on adventures together. Whether that is really the case remains to be seen as far as I'm concerned.

Next, we travel to Sweden, where Bram receives his guests on his self-sufficient farm, we fly on to Portugal where Marian shares her life with her guests in a luxury villa (delightful, that contrast between the two), we visit Martijn who has a guesthouse and a restaurant with a Dutch touch in Thailand (think croquettes, frikandellen, and Hazes) and we stay a bit closer to home for Leendert in Belgium, who runs a B&B in an old watermill.

We don't yet know who the candidates are that want to win the hearts of our new B&B owners, but one thing is for sure: the new season is already going to be a treat.

B&B Vol Liefde will be on air from Monday, July 10, for seven weeks every Monday through Friday at 8:30 PM on RTL4 or on Videoland.
