Want to see: City On Fire on Apple TV+

By

Well, I know: don't you have enough subscriptions to all the streaming services by now? It's become a bit of a luxury problem, but I have good and I have bad news for you. Let me start with the bad news: there is a chance that you want to take out a new subscription. Because the good news is that there is a series online that you want to see. On Apple TV+. So if you already had a subscription there, there is actually only good news today. Anyway, I do recommend Apple TV+ because Ghosted is also online there (with Ana de Armas and Chris Evans) and I thought it was the most fun movie in ages.

But anyway, now the series City On Fire is also online and you really want to start that. It's from the same producers as Gossip Girl and The OC, so you already have my attention. The setting is also great: right in New York City. Just a bit grimmer than the aforementioned series, because City On Fire is more of a detective and a thrilling series, alongside the shots you get to see of NYC.

The story goes as follows: a student is murdered in Central Park, and the best friend becomes the main suspect, but everything surrounding that death is quite mysterious. The detectives seem to find a link with arsons throughout the city, the shady music scene in downtown New York, but also a family from Upper Manhattan (in other words: extremely wealthy) seems to know more.

I am so curious about this, Gossip Girl meets The OC meets... A bit of You, in terms of suspense? Anyway, I am going to binge this heavily starting today, and I can wholeheartedly recommend you do the same.
