This Thursday it's that time again: King's Day. Always a lot of fun, no matter where you are in the country. But when you go out with a group of friends, it can be a hassle to keep track of all those costs and calculate later who was supposed to pay what. Well, there's a solution for that: a QR code as a payment request. And I'll explain how that works.

Because how annoying is it when someone pays your Tikkie months later? With a QR code, even those types can't escape paying you back immediately, because you hold it right in front of their noses. And not only that, it also happens that you want to send someone a Tikkie but that person is not in your contact list. Especially on a day like King's Day, where you're buying drinks for a whole group while you don't know half of the people. That problem is now also solved immediately with such a code.

How does it work? Mega easy. Choose a reliable payment provider like PayPal, IDEAL QR, Tikkie, or your own bank and then click on ‘Payment request’. After that, you enter the amount you want to receive and choose the ‘QR’ option. That’s it. The code is generated for you immediately and is ready for use. Time to cash in.

Small side note: this method of payment only works efficiently if you are sure that everyone can pay you back immediately. This way you avoid a lot of awkward situations. And also handy if you're going to sell on King's Day and your customers don't have cash with them.
