No desire to cook but still hungry?

This is your salvation

I find this a solution. Brilliant really. Menus from renowned restaurants just like that, hups, in your kitchen. A kind of HelloFresh from star chefs. SOUS, that's what it's called, was created during the corona period to allow restaurants to generate some revenue and let people at home enjoy culinary delights. In the meantime, it has become a well-running website where you can order complete menus from various well-known restaurants.

Ron Gastrobar, Brasserie Van Dam, Parkheuvel, De Lindehof, NENI, Bolenius and so on. You choose a menu, order it online, and it gets delivered to your home. Also ideal for the Christmas days. No more waiting in line at the butcher or fishmonger, just wait at home with a cup of tea until the doorbell rings.

I am a foodie but certainly not a chef, so I chose the easier option.

Today we have a sweet platter from Waldo on the table with the tastiest and prettiest pastries from Amsterdam, and tonight I will proudly serve (because not prepared by me) various snacks from Brasserie Van Dam. Pulled chicken, a pumpkin-coconut soup, a savory pastry in the shape of an S, and all sorts of other delightful bites.

I highly recommend SOUS, so that's why I'm sharing it with you. Enjoy Saint Nicholas later.
