Oh no: is Wednesday disappearing from Netflix?

For me, this series, alongside Squid Game, was the surprise of last year: Wednesday. The Addams Family movies were already a favorite of mine, so I was a bit anxious whether this reboot could live up to it. Well, that anxiety turned out to be unfounded and season two will definitely come. But where? There is a strong possibility that it won't be on Netflix.

The series is being produced by MGM, which has just merged with Amazon — for a sum of 8.5 billion. A hefty price tag indeed. And that also means that there is a chance that the titles under MGM (like Wednesday) will move to Amazon Prime. Fortunately, that is a streaming service we also have in the Netherlands, so no worries, except that you might still need to subscribe to it.

Is it because of this merger that the second season has not been announced yet? Wednesday broke almost all records, so there seems to be no doubt that the second season is coming. But it would still be nice if they could let us know about it…
