Don't have a subscription to Discovery+ yet? Then you should get one quickly, because this coming Sunday there will be a very interesting documentary about Joran van der Sloot online. I'm actually surprised that no documentaries about him have been released earlier after Natalee Holloway, because there is really more than enough bizarre information and events surrounding Joran.

Of course, the world got to know him because of his alleged involvement in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. That is also the starting point of this documentary, called Faking It Specials. Experts will try to read from Joran's body language and rhetoric in this documentary whether he is telling the truth or not. This special consists of a total of three episodes, of which this one with Joran van der Sloot is the first.

His appearance on Pauw & Witteman, where he threw a glass of red wine in Peter R. de Vries's face, is also examined, as well as his conversation with Patrick van der Eem, the famous ‘coño’ story. Extra fun: Kees van der Spek is the narrator of this documentary.

This special will be online this coming Sunday, but you can also watch it on TV: it will be shown at half past eight in the evening on Discovery.
