Sailing with Douwe Bob
It would be too easy to start this article with a joke about kids, because yes, it’s about Douwe Bob. But let’s not forget that he is mainly just a really good artist. I saw him years ago in Paradiso, during a concert of the best singer-songwriter in the Netherlands, at that time a program of BNN, and since then I have become a bit of a fan of his. Therefore, I want to share this nice tip with you: Douwe Bob is launching a new project: Bob’s Boat Bash.
And Bob’s Boat Bash will be an evening of enjoyment, with Douwe Bob and his music. On a (the name says it all) boat, which will sail through the canals of Amsterdam starting February 24. How fun is that? And no, it’s not that there will be a Spotify playlist of Douwe Bob playing all night; he will often be there himself. He has put together all the live music with his friend from Club Dauphine, who every music lover in Amsterdam knows. This will take place every Friday and Saturday night for at least three months. Now, I already had a suspicion that Douwe Bob is incredibly fun to hang out with, so hopefully I will find that out in the coming time, because of course I’m going there.
