Recently, I went to the cinema for the first time in years and I genuinely missed it. The popcorn always tastes just a bit better there and I experience much more of the film when it's rude to take out your phone (my cat doesn't mind when I watch from my couch). I went to see the new Dutch film Happy Single and as the title suggests, it is indeed a romcom, and one that made me think: how enjoyable Dutch romcoms can actually be.

I knew that, because I have played through all of them. And that's why I made an ultimate Bucket List of Dutch romcoms that you must see. At least once. But you'll probably end up watching them more often.

If I missed one, I would love to hear about it. But please, no tips with destinations in the name, because I haven't seen a single one that even came close to being sufficient and I am now convinced that this is just an excuse for the cast and crew to go on vacation as a group. So until I am invited on such a group trip, I am not a fan.
