Expedition Robinson: Aftershow episode 6

By
Expedition Robinson

Dear people, episode SIX is already here. How quickly is this season passing by? We have already watched six episodes of celebrities on a deserted island. For five episodes, we saw Camp North losing. Is it a case of six times is a charm? OF COURSE NOT. But luckily, there is enough to talk about again.

1. You just know that the production had an emergency meeting because Camp North just couldn't manage to win a challenge. ‘What should we do, guys? How are we going to make this happen without one camp being wiped out before the merge starts?’ Boom, a reshuffle in episode 6.

2. Although I really don't understand why Jaimie is chosen last (even though she seems wonderfully unbothered by it), as she has proven to be a strong player in every challenge so far.

3. Production: ‘HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Even after a switch, Camp North still can't manage to win a single challenge. We give up. Camp North is hopeless.’

4. Honestly: it's pretty cool and also very nice that Roosmarijn doesn't challenge Irene, because she would most likely be the easier opponent. Points for that.

5. Aaaah, that Mark who cries over food. Well, food... Rice and flour. This reaction is very similar to how I react to a Big Mac from McDonald's on a Friday night.

6. Oh nooo Eva, what are you doing now? Hold. Your. Immunity. Coin. For. Yourself. I think she is such a sweetheart, but also so clumsy in almost every action she takes.

7. But better to use it right away indeed, although I fear it might be a bit of a stay of execution for our Eef. As long as she is still in Camp North, no challenge will be won and she will still end up on Loser Island next week.

8. Huh, I actually expected the votes to go towards Krista. But FLORIS?! Who on earth wants him out of the camp?! I really don't get this at all. The lack of food, sleep, and wins is clearly getting to their heads.

9. Are they seriously going to do a challenge every time with those annoying coins between two potential losers? I'm already a bit fed up with that, and if you were watching this in real time, we would still be watching it tomorrow.

10. Next week: the entire Camp North blames Eva for Chelsey going to Loser Island, even though they all would have done the same AND it is discussed again how it feels to be chosen last in gym class, which has become a recurring topic every episode.

11. Seriously though, I wrote this before seeing the preview for next week and now I feel like some sort of fortune teller. Also: can someone tell me more about the beef between Maxime and Eva? Why is she in his allergy zone, what did I miss?
