Expedition Robinson: aftershow episode 8

By

Yesss guys, welcome back to the weekly debrief of the show where Camp North never wins. That’s the new concept this year. Yes, of course there’s a challenge every week and theoretically Camp North could win. But do they ever? OF COURSE NOT.

Fortunately, there’s always plenty to talk about every week.

1. That Eva, with a grin from ear to ear towards Loser Island, and there’s also an immunity coin to be found. That girl can’t believe her luck, man. I’m already looking forward to seeing the faces of the other contestants when she makes a comeback. That’s going to be enjoyable. I think Maxime will cry then. That’s going to be sen-sa-tional.

2.  Maxim when Eva comes back again:

3. What a hellish challenge this is again, I swear, meine gute. I’m seriously sitting on the couch with massive muscle pain from an hour of trampoline jumping and I thought I was such a sporty boss back then. HAHA, I really wouldn’t last a half challenge if this is the level. Eva hasn’t even looked at it so badly: just hanging out on Loser Island and not wasting too much energy.

4. Wait… What? I’m completely speechless. Is… Is Camp North actually… Winning?

5. Oh no, never mind, they’ve lost again. I can’t even count on one hand how many times they’ve managed to do this in a row. Even when Camp South lets someone play whose intestines are practically falling out, they still manage to win.

6. But this must be the moment when Krista gets voted out, right? It will definitely be a woman and I think Jaimie is doing well in the group.

7. Much love to Mark’s joy dance-with-drooping-pants-because-of-the-lost-Expedition-kilos. And he totally deserves it. That sweet Irene who is also immediately so happy. Secretly, the atmosphere on Loser Island is just the coziest.

8. See: Loser Island is just fine. Just stay stationary in your spot and solve a puzzle, nothing physical. You’ll come out fine.

9. Loooove Irene, so incredibly sweet and supportive towards everyone. Can’t she just stay as Chief Atmosphere Management? I think Camp North could use that too.

10. Meanwhile, there’s a chronic grave atmosphere at Camp North, a quick trip to the hospital needs to be arranged at Camp South, but they’re playing relaxed petanque at Loser Island. So I really get it, that Eva wanted to come back here with screeching tires.

11. Oh noooo, I actually thought Armand just had to go to the hospital for a check-up. Just to see if he can still handle it or if it’s the end of the story. Poor Armand.

12. Or could this just be a trick by the producers to ensure that eventually someone from Camp South has to leave the camp?

13. …Too soon?

14. Waaaaat. STOP. Why not Krista? Nothing against her, I just like Jaimie more. Yeah sorry, sometimes it’s just like that. Although Eva will definitely be waving the flag when Jaimie arrives at Party Island- Loser Island, I mean. Yaaay Jaim, you couldn’t wish for a warmer welcome!
