Just about Noa Vahle's dress

By

On Thursday, Noa Vahle won an award for the biggest and most promising talent during the Televizierring Gala. Rightly so, if you ask me, because I find Noa skilled, hardworking, smart, realistic (‘thanks for the wheelbarrow’) and also funny. So I was nodding contentedly on the couch.

There was a lot of fuss about her dress, a floor-length piece with pink sleeves that was molded like a kind of boa halfway up her arms by Tess van Zalinge. Especially and of course at ‘her’ VI. ‘What were you wearing?’ the men asked her the next day. Noa reacted as Noa should react. That she certainly didn't think the men would find it beautiful and at the same time defended her choice. It was from a real designer, really. ‘Who then, by Vincent Bijlo?’ The men found the suggestion that the dress was designed by a visually impaired comedian particularly funny. Noa could handle that too.

And now I want to say something about it too. Whether it was the most beautiful dress of the gala that best showcased Noa's beauty, I don't know either, but I can well imagine that if you've been standing on the sidelines all week in a comfortable and warm suit, you might want to show off a bit. And so Noa chose something striking, playful, unique, outspoken, ingenious, and made with a wink. In short, Noa couldn't have chosen a better dress for this evening. Hats off.
