Last week was the pre-party of The Family Circle in the Kleine Parade in Amsterdam. By the way, the most fun store in the city and that's not so strange either, because it's so fun: a good friend of mine has recently been running the store. The Family Circle festival has been a great success in Germany and Austria for five years and is finally coming to the Netherlands on June 24 and 25. The Hallen in Amsterdam-West will be transformed into a real family festival with 50 different workshops, DIY stands for all ages, and the whole family. While we enjoy a nice drink (hopefully in the sun), music, shopping at the coolest clothing, accessories, interior, and beauty brands, and getting information about child-friendly travel destinations, the kids can attend workshops from among others Jill Schirnhofer (you know: the super popular Dutch illustrator with her own TV show ‘Jill’), but you can also enjoy healthy snacks, make flower crowns, wreaths, vases, design a T-shirt, and much more.
