According to Rebecca Loos, this SMS was the beginning of her affair with David Beckham

It was of course to be expected: Rebecca Loos has been back in the docuseries Beckham spotlight again, although she didn't necessarily ask for it. She is not exactly happy about it. Even though her name is not mentioned, according to her (and I honestly agree with her) it is more than clear that she is the one being targeted in the documentary, but as far as she is concerned, it does not paint an accurate picture.
The British site The Mirror spoke with Loos about what she thinks of all the new commotion she is facing. ‘He needs to take responsibility. He can say whatever he wants and I understand that he has an image to uphold, but he is portraying himself as a victim and making it seem like I am a liar, as if I made everything up.’
‘He is indirectly suggesting that I am the one who made Victoria suffer. […] He is the one who caused all the suffering. He could have simply said that it was a difficult time and that he didn't want to talk about it.’
Rebecca Loos and David Beckham became close when the footballer moved to Madrid: ‘When he was under fire and in his hotel, I smuggled him out to show him the real Madrid.’ According to her, they went for drinks and had the best tapas in a little restaurant. That was the first moment it was clear they had a connection, and soon, according to Loos, there was flirting, even though she was still working for the Beckham family and was even tasked with finding houses for the family. During the house search, she was instructed to only discuss it with Victoria, as David and she couldn't seem to agree on their wishes.
And that is where it went wrong according to Loos: she received a text message from David, to which she replied that it wasn't the intention. His response? ‘We don’t have to tell anyone.’ And the affair was born.
Rebecca Loos further tells The Mirror that their relationship quickly became sexual after that text message and they shared a bed at least four times. David also reportedly said ‘that he had never done this before.’.
‘I remember looking at him and saying, ‘You are so lucky, you can have anyone you want.’ And he looked me in the eyes and said, ‘I’ve never done this before.’ I thought: wow. I mean… I fell for all his lies very foolishly.’
Despite the fact that she is now seeking publicity again, she says she regrets it — particularly in the case of selling her story to Max Clifford, who first brought the affair to light. She also talks about the ‘enormous guilt’ over the damage she caused to Victoria and David's marriage. Still, she is also grateful, as that sudden fame led her to meet her current husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa. Fun fact: she met him during the filming of the Dutch series 71 Graden Noord, in which she participated in the fourth season.
There has been no response from Beckham's camp regarding Rebecca Loos's statements, but it seems that the mudslinging is far from over…
