Once you see this from Friends, you can never watch it normally again

Friends will never be the same for me after the passing of Matthew Perry, but this weekend I still watched some episodes. It turns out to be great, although it also feels very bittersweet. It’s of course logical that after the passing of Chandler Bing a lot is being written about Friends again, and I’m reading a lot online and on Reddit, but I wanted to keep it somewhat light and funny. Okay, and scary.
Because believe me: once you’ve seen this, you can never watch Friends normally again. Chandler was always my favorite, later that also became Ross. No idea why, but I only learned to appreciate David Schwimmer and his comedic talent at a later age. I really find his timing and physical comedy brilliant. And of course, it’s also true that as I get older, I start to resemble Dr. Heckles more and more, but let’s just stick with Ross for now.
Of course we all know Friends with a laugh track from the audience in the background, but if you remove that laugh track (like in real life) Friends is not only very different, Ross is downright a psychopath. HAHA. Seriously, just take a look below.
YouTube is really full of this kind of examples. It’s quite strange to hear it without that laugh track; there are so many awkward silences. This makes the conversations between Chandler and Joey go really slowly, but it also means that Ross would actually belong behind bars.
It remains one of my favorites, though, but only with a laugh track.
