Chanel Eau Vive hair perfume, €65,-
Things you really don't need to keep breathing, but that make your heart beat a little faster. Hair perfume belongs to that category for me. The ultimate luxury to spray a few drops of your favorite perfume in your hair in the morning.
CHANEL made me completely happy again yesterday by not only sending the perfume of Coco Mademoiselle, but also including three scrunchies (from CHANEL!) with three hairpins, each with a CHANEL symbol on it. It was Monday, otherwise the champagne would have been opened at the Mobach household.
Why a hair perfume?
Well, let me tell you. Hair perfume has a slightly different composition so it doesn't damage your hair. Often it is also just a bit more subtle in scent so it complements your own perfume. I also find it a solution if you don't want to be too present in terms of scent, like during a dinner, or if you don't want to outshine someone else. I know many makeup artists who prefer to use a scented body lotion or a hair perfume rather than a real perfume because otherwise, you put the person you are doing makeup on in your ‘cloud’.
So if you want to pamper yourself or someone else, give a hair perfume. It really is a little maker of happiness.
